Utilizing salt crystal as a lamination and reinforcement material.
Shedding light on the Dead Sea’s shrinking phenomenon, this interactive, environmentally focused installation ‘Droplet of Life’ acts as call-to action, displayed during the World Economic Forum2019- Dead Sea.
The installation is comprised of a multi- component structure that has been dipped in saline solution to organically activate salt growth, forming a 2.5 meter structure awakened by light projections. The work was completed in collaboration with architect Yassmin Al Khasawneh.
